We got a Bolero to use as a travel seat (Marathon is just too unwieldy to drag through multiple airports), but I've yet to install it. Any tips for an install on a plane and in a 2003 Santa Fe? I have 2 MAs as our "real" seats, so I've never so much as touched a locking clip, and neither of our cars have LATCH, so I've never used it.

hi i have that car seat and I havent used it on planes but other people said you may have to leave the arm rest up on the seat not sure if they meant the planes arm rest of the bolero arm rest. If the seat is going to be installed in a 2003 you shouldnt have to use a locking clip that is for seat belts that do not lock when pulled all the way out most cars 96 newer have locking belts. If the Santa Fe has LATCH it would be easier to get the Bolero in. I have a 2003 ford truck with LATCH and that is what I use and I hook one side of the Latch strap to the metal bar in the seat bight then thread the latch strap through the car seats belt path hook the other side of the Latch strap to the other metal bar in the seat bight and then I push on the Bolero seat in 3 different places side middle side while pulling on the Latch tightening part of the stap if that makes sense. Or you can put you knee in the Bolero and push down on it while tigthening the LATCH Strap. Dont forget the top strap attach it to the tether anchor and pull to tighten. Im not sure where the LATCH is loacted in a Santa fe but it should have them seeing thats its a 2003
