View Full Version : Compact folding strollers?
After having one too many strollers manhandled by the gatecheck folks at my local airport, I've decided it's time to invest in a stroller that I can stow in the overhead bin of the airplane. I'm looking at the Quinny Zapp or Mia Moda Cielo. Does anyone have any opinions about either of these, or suggestions of other models I should consider? My only requirements are the compact fold and a small storage basket underneath. TIA!

the maclarens fold pretty compactly and have a nice carry strap, which comes in wicked handy when your hands are full!

We have a Mac Quest Sport, which is very nice. But I recently bought an UppaBaby G-Lite to keep in DH's trunk for my DS to use when out and about with DH.
It's very light - weighing in at 8.3lbs, which is lighter than a Mac (not sure how much Quinny Zapp weighs). Plus it comes with a carry handle, just like a Mac Volo. Oh yeah, when the G-lite is folded up, it can stand on it's own.
You can see the G-lite here: http://www.uppababy.com/products/strollers/g-lite/
Our latest casualty was a Pink Fleur Quest. I'm still in mourning :( Are you able to fit a Mac in the overhead bin? Based on previous experience, I'm not counting on space in the front closets.
