I have Googled and read through the Motor Vehicle act and searched the PNB website and can not for the life of me find the height/weight/age limits required in NB. I did find a news article from the CBC that NB will more than likely be moving to the same req. as ON, Quebec and NS (under 9 and under I think 80lbs in a booster?)
Thanks so much!

From what I can find about New Brunswick, is that they currently don't have a provincial law for booster seats. However, transport Canada has a proper use clause for seat belts, that requires children who don't properly fit a seat belt to use a booster seat. The 5 step test is the best measure for seeing if your child is ready for an adult seat belt: http://www.carseat.org/Boosters/630.htm . Here's a link to Safe Kids Canada's booster page: http://www.sickkids.ca/SKCForParents/section.asp?s=Safety+Information+by+Topic&sID=10774&ss=Child+Passenger+Safety&ssID=11330&sss=Booster+Seat&sssID=11570
Remember, even if you don't have a specific booster law for your province, children that have outgrown their harnessed seats, are still safer in a booster.
