Car Seats Sold each Year

I've been looking for statistical data regarding the number of car seats sold in the US each year. How many millions of dollars a year is the car seat industry?

I hope you aren't feeling ignored! I'm sure if somebody knew the answer, they would have posted it right away.
It's a pretty tough question, actually. Do you think you could get that kind of answer directly from the manufacturers?

I've tried looking directly at the manufacturer's websites and haven't come up with anything. I'll probably have to email/call them and see what information they can give me. Thanks for the links! When I do find out, I will be sure to post all of the information so the next person looking can have the answer!!
