Looking for car seat

I am getting very frustrated looking for a car seat for DS. He is currently in an AOE and is about to outgrow it height wise. He is currently 38" and 32lbs. He can not go to the booster so I am stuck purchasing another car seat.

Any suggestions? What are my options? I have been looking at the Radian and the Marathon. I like the Marathon better overall. But the price is enough to kill ya.

I really like my Radian, the padding isn't really soft, but DS seems pretty comfortable in it.
I agree, that the price of the marathon is almost enough to kill you.
