Cosco called about the recall today..

I had my IL's address/number listed as we are still renting and don't feel like changing the address for the seats every single time we move.
They called MIL today about the recall on our Eddie Bauer...I have no real details since she doesn't speak English and I don't speak French but I was able to discern that they would mail out the replacement part.
I have to wait until DH gets home from his work trip to find out more.

Hmm, wonder if they'll call me. I got a letter instead of the recall kit. A letter saying my seat was recalled and to call them if I need/want the fix kit. :thumbsdown:

TC advisory says the kits are shipped automatically to registered owners... I'm not impressed. I don't have my seat anymore, but if I did, they spent how many weeks sending this letter, and then I'd have to wait how many more weeks to actually receive the fix kit?

I plan to keep the kit on hand for seat checks jic, so will still get Dorel to send it to me. But it really bugs me that they sent a letter and not a kit when they stated registered owners would automatically get them.
