So we have the Britax Marathon that, as far as I understand, only goes up to 48lbs right now in Canada. It's new as it was just replaced in June due to a rear ender.

Anyway, my son is a big boy - he just turned 2 and he's about 38lbs and 37 inches.

My sister and mom both have seats for him that go up to 40lbs which will soon need replacing. The way the little linebacker is going, I don't see the Marathon last us too much longer either.

Is there any seats out there that won't break the bank for them (but are still safe) that will hold him? There is no point in them getting Marathons if he's going to outgrow that soon too as they don't use them enough to justify the cost.

Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated!!!

The only one I can think of that will last are the Sunshine Kids Radian--I think it will be on sale this week at Canadian Tire for $10 off but not sure if they have the new 65lbs limit ones yet.
