Hi- Does anyone know where I can get a Radian that's rated to 65lbs in Canada? The ones at Canadian Tire seem to be the older ones.
TIA!

You could try Baby Proofing Plus/Safety Superstore (http://www.babyproofingplus.com/categories/showcat.php?catid=28), they are $229 there and i'm not sure what the shipping is on those seats (I noticed that the Britax has free shipping from there though).
Perfect...exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!!:)
Thanks so much! This is exactly what I was looking for:)

Where do you live? I know there's a few online stores like babyproofing plus, tummies & tots (think that's the right name,) and TJ's.
Many local boutiques are carrying the Radian though, so if you're in a city, chances are a store there has it. What I did to locate the boutique stores in my area, was went to the britax website and then clicked on find a retailer and looked in my city. I figured that if a boutique carried Marathon's they'd probably have the Radian, and 2 of the 3 I called did. Or you could just use the phone book. ;)
I'm in New Brunswick. There's a place about 3 hours away that carries Britax, but doesn't have the Radian (checked there already). Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to have order and have it shipped here. Unless CT starts carrying the 65lb ones in the next 6 months or so...that's when this baby's due.

If you are wanting to skip the infant carrier bucket style seat and go straight to a convertible... then I would suggest getting the Radian Premier. It is a little more expensive but it comes with the newborn insert and I highly recommend it. The Radian Premier here is equivalent to the Radian 80 in the states.
If you do go with an infant bucket seat, the Graco SafeSeat1 is a fantastic choice and lasts most kids to somewhere between 18 months - 2 years old... so you'd have quite a bit of time before you need to purchase a convertible seat and something new and better could easily come on the market in the next two years.
Yes, we will definitely be getting the Radian Premier:thumbsup:

I just saw your vehicle make/model in another post. I definitely recommend going to CT to try out the Radian (they are all the same shell, so it doesn't matter if it's a 48lbs model). I don't think it will fit behind the driver's seat and still leave you room to drive.
