Yes, your seat will have one of the old safe stops that was affected by the recall. Just call them to register and they'll send you the replacement.

I would look as well into seeing if its one of the short strapped ones.

The DOM 08/06 from Canadian Tire seems to be prone to being the Radians with straps 7 inches shorter then normal. Just search the forum to see how to check this/pictures and what to do.
