Anyone knows how one can get certified in
BC? I checked St John's Ambulance's website
for Yukon/BC but they don't seem to have those courses available.

Thanks!

You could look and see if ICBC offers the course

Here is a list of carseat clinics (http://www.sickkids.ca/SKCForParents/custom/CarseatclinicsApr04Sep05Eng.pdf), maybe you could contact them and see where they got certified. There are quite a few that offer checks so they might be able to help you . . .

I know there was a thread on here not too long ago about getting certified in BC. St john's ambulance does the training classes in BC. The CRST course isn't one I've ever seen on the website though, you'd need to contact the local office and inquire there. Sometimes that means getting transferred around and waiting to have someone call you back... I don't remember who it was now that contacted sja about the training course now.

I believe there are no classes in the Yukon and you would have to travel out of province to take them - that was last I'd seen someone post here.

I found the other thread:

http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=21683&highlight=ambulance+course+ICBC

PM QuassEE and she'll be able to give you more info it looks like. (and if this thread is coming up for others in searches, it is st john's ambulance that does the training in BC. ;) )
