RF tether on a 2007 Dodge Caravan??? Where?

Okay since I ordered a Marathon I now need help with it. Where can I rf tether it on a 2007 Dodge Caravan? It would have to be tethered under the passenger side front seat.

Do you need pics of what is under there?

I wont get the seat for about a week but I would like to kow this stuff now so I can be prepared when it comes.

You wrap the d-ring around anything that is bolted to the frame of the car. Seat legs and seatbelt stalks are usually great candidates. A picture would be great if you need help spotting something that will work.

There will be a tray that slides out from under the front passenger seat. If you open the tray and then look under the seat from the back of it, you will see a flat metal piece that has two holes in it. When the tray is slid back into place the rails that hold the tray slide through these holes.

Open the tray wrap your d-ring through the hole and around the metal plate and there is your tether point. Then close the tray back up... the rails from the tray will not interfere with the d-ring strap because the holes are big enough.

This metal plate is attached to the seat frame that is bolted to the floor.

A word of caution... you will not be able to move the seat once the tether is attached. So I recommend installing the Marathon, loosely attaching the tether. Then move the front seat back as far as it can go and *then* tighten down the tether and don't move the front seat again ;)
