I posted some pictures on the other section of the forum, and I'm wondering if some of the techs could look and see if they have any input. I tried to get tether anchors retro-fitted in my Suburban, but the dealer told me to use the cargo hooks. I asked him to mail me the data, and, sure enough, it is very clear. Cargo tie downs are what I'm instructed to use for this vehicle. Wierd but true.
Would ya'll feel comfortable with this kind of tether set-up? I'm trying to find a way to get a Regent in the vehicle, and need to be sure before I purchase it that I have a way to tether it. I went to BRU yesterday, and did an install in my vehicle, and the short belt path seems fine, and I checked, and I have enough belt to do a long belt path too. Not alot of leg room, but enough, I think. Part of the leg room issue is the seat bottom is built for an older child, and because my 4yo knees don't (yet) match the edge of the Regent seat, his legs come down at a forward angle. I think there is enough room that he'll be okay for now, and as he grows the angles should match up better.
Here's the link where the pictures are...sorry not to get it in the body of this post, but the pictures wouldn't copy for some reason.
