DC can't be Australian tethered but BV and MA can??

Help me understand!! After reading some manuals online, I was surprised to see that while the MA and BV manuals have graphics showing Australian and Swedish rear face tethering (page 22), the DC manual only shows the Swedish method. WHY?? Is there something about the DC that makes it unable to be tethering with the Australian method? I use the Swedish method (because I want to follow what my manual says) but find it weird that I could buy a MA or BV and have another option for tethering. What am I missing? I am sure if I call Britax, they will say that I can use the Australian method with my DC but I am sure they wouldn't put it in writing...ha ha. Not that it matters at all because the Swedish method is working just fine for us and we wouldn't change but hmm... Any ideas?

There was a brief moment in time where Britax was going to stop allowing Aust. tethering altogether...maybe they only did it in the DC? Their manuals are so willy nilly, you never know what they'll say in dis/agreement when you call them. But this is a great question, maybe other DC owners should pull out their manuals and see what they say....
