Everything looks great. Make sure you have less than one inch of movement AT the belt path and you are good to go. :)

They look great to me :thumbsup:

Wanted to add.....You may have to recline the MA a little more for the 10 month old if you find she has a hard time sleeping in it. Head falling forward instad of to the side. You can pull the tether a little tighter to add more recline.

Yup, they look good. Make sure that Cora's harness is at or below her shoulders for rf and Mattie's is at or above her shoulders for ff and you're good to go.

They both are correctly in the seat as far straps, I have a question though. I was told by another tech to remove the hugs from DD2's seat because it is not necessary for rf and could prevent me from getting the straps tight enough. Is this correct.

Not necessarily. I left Mikkel's hugs ON his Marathon because they never interfered with getting the harness tight. He started out in the Marathon at only 12lbs.

I would leave them on (easier to not lose that way and you NEED them for forward facing) and see if they get in the way. If they do get in the way, then you can remove them for rearfacing use. Store them in a safe spot though because you WILL need them for forward facing use.

They are optional when RF. You do get the harness alittle tighter when they are off. They are required for FF, so do not lose them if you take them off. I do take mine off.

Okay thanks, I took them off because I did not like the fact that DD2 was chewing on them so when I found out I did not need them they went into the little storage pouch in the top back of the seat. Thanks again :)

Yeah it is a Mazda5 '07. I LOVE it, wish it had bit more room in the back for a stroller with the back seats up but other than that it is a great car.

Is that first picture an example of what we were talking about in another thread about the seatbelt having to go OVER the MA bar? I have never installed a MA and was wondering if that was what the discussion was about

I don't know what you mean? My latch belts are attached to the bar, one on each side . . . I don't even know if I could take them off. I am not using the seat belt on either seat.

no, that discussion was about forward facing MA and BLVD installations and using a seatbelt instead of the LATCH connectors. lapbelts go under the bar, lap/shoulder belts go over.

Your seat is fine. :)There is a tread on here talkingabout going over the latch bar with a lap/shoulder belt or under he bar with a lap only belt. I think she may have thought the belt from the LATCH was a lap/shoulder belt. ;)
