I was just curious about using a seat pad under the carseat.

I may do a video clip of why you shouldnt use them. I had one under ds2 seat for a while. Then when I asked about it last week I was curious when told it was too thick.
Well I decided to test it out. I installed the FPSVD on the mat and tried to move it and the top didnt budge but when I moved the base I could see it sliding on the mat. So I removed the mat and re-installed it and it was crazy the difference.
I think when I get the Apex I will do a video clip so people can see differnce. I am glad I asked you.

Well, it could be completely different with the Apex, you'll have to try :). That's why I always say, use something thin that doesn't affect the install, if you must use something at all. A video would be great, though!
