Hi,

This is my first thread.

I am having a huge problem installing my britax rf in my 4 runner. The more I tighten the belt the more the seat seems to lean forward. My infant is sitting too upright. The seats in my car are slanted.

Does anyone own a 4 runner? Is there a seat that works better?

I don't want to buy a new car seat.

My two year old was in a cosco elite rf. I removed the base and reclined it. We gave that away and got her a britax when she started ff. Now she is in a radian 65 and we want to put our infant in the britax.

Should I buy another carseat with a removable base?

help.

try using a small rolled towel or noddle underneath the base when you tigthen it, are you tethering it rear facing? you should be and you can use that to help the angle of the recline

Do you have it tethered? Britax seats can tether rear facing. That should help with the angle. If you still need more recline, a pool noodle or tightly rolled towel can be placed under the front of the base (near the crease in the seat).

The D ring was included with your seat. They're attached to the tether in the pouch on the back as far as I know.
