I was browsing and noticed someone suggesting a seat not be used if the straps had been cleaned with a chemical cleaner.
And I began to reflect...
Stomach flu/car seat disaster. Couple years ago. I'm almost certain I cleaned it up with something like Lysol or 409. Wanted the germs and stink OUT.
The other seats...I can't remember anything specific. Just that I didn't learn until recently that it was a no-no, so I may have spot cleaned with something when they started looking grungy, and I know there were other stomach flu/spit-up episodes, just not certain which seat the child would have been in at the time.
So, what to do?
Do I have to throw the seat away?? My oldest seat is 2003, and it is the one that would have been drenched in cleaner from the terrible mess.
