I recently got a Husky (Thnaks Arly). I am trying to install it in a 2003 chevy venture with second row bench seats. I have it installed on the smaller of the bench seats. My kids are very routine orientated and I didn't want to move thier seats around if I didn't have to. When I installed the Husky for my almost 8 year old I am using lbp w/out the recline bar and top tether. When I close the sliding door the husky rests against the door. Is that ok? If it is not I will move their seats around if I have to. I will try to insert a picture. I am having a hard time inserting a picture when I click on the mountain nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Is it jammed against the door or just resting. I "think" it's ok to just touch. I know when I do 3 across in a sedan, the seats sometimes touch the door when it closes. As long as I'm not forcing the door closed, I find that to be ok. I am not a tech, though, so can not be sure the right answer.

Touching the door is fine, as long as it isn't pushing it out of place. :)

Thanks everyone. I just went and changed them around. I moved the radian to the smaller of the bench seats. I installed that latch and got a great install. It is now rock solid without having to do any of the tricks to get it there. I moved the husky to the other side. The kids seem fine to it now. I think dh will not like the change. We will see. Ds always sat behind him when he drove and he always got him out and I got dd out as she was behind me. I tis funny but we are all creatures of habit.
