I just got a Marathon and...

the site I bought it from (babyproofingplus.com) said that it was RF up to 33 lbs. I was just reading the manual, and it says it's only up to 30lbs? Why is this? It's not one of the new 65lb ones, just a 48lb seat. I'm confused, and a little disappointed. :confused:

All seats in Canada only RF to 30lbs. The 33lbs was a typo... they most likely pulled the info straight off the US website.

Britax is not releasing any 65lbs limit Marathons to Canada until they have sold out of all their 48lbs limit stock.

65lbs limit Marathons are not expected to hit stores until Septemberish.

Honestly, most kids outgrow this seat in height before weight and they are generally around 50lbs. You should be fine with the 48lbs limit.

Unfortunately car seat limits are something a lot of companies get wrong in their advertising.

I understand your disappointment though.. it's one many have had.

Have you taken a moment to let them know about the error on the site ? Just a quick email, with a refrence to the page in the manual should do it, I would think.
