Need carseat for Tuesday

Okay I decided on a Marathon and so I went to purchase it today. Luckily I phoned first and none of the stores around here have any stock. TJ's is out and Baby's world is out. Even Toys R Us is out online. What do I do. I have an expired Evenflo and TJ's says rent (but I don't trust that). The child is one and about 25lbs, so I really want a convertable. The Radian didn't install very well in my van and it will be taken out every weekend so ease of install is a huge issue. It is for a child that I will be looking after, but I want him safe. I am so bummed. I need to try calling friends to see if any have any extra that I can borrow, but I think most of my friends old carseats will be expired too. What would you suggest.

Did you try Target? My local store carries the Marathon.

What about the new Evenflo Triumph Advance? It's less expensive and can be used rear facing to 35 lb.

It is a Honda Odyssey but a 95 and I am installing in the 3rd row which only has 2 seats.

Did you try each location of those stores? There's a Baby's World on W4th now, not just the Coquitlam one. I don't think they computer system is linked. I also don't think TJs' various locations link their stock. There's also a Crocodile Baby on W4 and in White Rock. BRU in Coquitlam and on W4 also both carry the Marathon. Baby on Board in Richmond Centre may also carry it. I guarantee you'll find one somewhere.
