I talked a Pregnant mama out of the Alpha Omega in Target today- Yay for me!

The title tells it all. She was reading all the labels and looking very intently at it, focusing on that misleading "the only car seat you will ever need" info- so I just HAD to tell her how it would not last much past 2.5 yrs harnessed because of the low top slot height. She was aware of extended harnessing, so I told her to look into the Marathon or the Evenflo Triumph Advance. I did mention that the MA probably would be too big for a newborn. She was grateful for my advice. I told her I wasted enough money on my first Graco convertible seats (which I had two of anyway) to buy a Britax anyway! My good deed is done for the day, hehehehe.

well, I had two Comfortsports, which we loved, but were outgrown at age 2.5. I almost got a AO when we were looking in 2003, but decided I didn't like the chestclip, of all things!

Where were you when my BIL bought one? lol My neice is only 13 months old and is about to grow out of her's already! :eek: She's a long torso baby! lol But they too thought this was the only seat they would ever need too.
