Tether in 2004 Odyssey

I would like to tether my older son's car seat in our 2004 Honda Odyssey. He is 3 years old, forward facing in a Britax Wizard, 2nd row, driver's side.

There is a tether anchor on the floor behind the passenger side 2nd row seat. The Odyssey's owner's manual implies that there in an anchor behind both seats in the 2nd row. However, I don't see any tether anchors on the floor behind the 2nd row driver's side seat. My younger child, an infant, is in the 2nd row on the passenger side (pushed in to the center..hope that makes sense...wanted the baby to be in the center of the 2nd row instead of next to the window).

Can you tell me where I should tether my older son's seat? There is a metal bar/anchor coming off of the side of the van in the cargo area behind the 2nd row. That's where the 3rd row seats attach when pulled up from the floor. Can I use that bar to tether?

You must use the approved anchor point for a front facing seat. The LATCH manual says the anchors for the 2nd row are "under each seat attached to the floor." Maybe someone with an '01-'04 Ody can take a picture of their anchor so you can see exactly what you are looking for.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll make sure I only attach to an approved anchor instead of just any old place :). The weird thing is that I can only find the anchor on the floor under/behind the passenger side 2nd row seat. I just don't see one under/behind the driver side 2nd row seat.

Hopefully someone with an Odyssey can help me with this..

Good news...I found it!! Gosh I feel so stupid..argh. I mistakenly thought the tether anchor points were on the floor of the minivan. I mistook the the anchors for the 2nd row captain chairs as the anchors for LATCH. Since the 2nd row passenger side chair can move from the side to center, it has little anchor points to install.

Anyway...after rereading the owner's manual about 5 times (yes I'm that dumb :)) I realized that the LATCH tether anchor points are actually under the 2nd row seats and attached to the seats. There is a bar on the underside of the captain chairs, not on the floor of the van, and the tether attaches to that.
