OK, we have been trying to install the Touriva RF in Chevy S10 and can not get a tight instsall. The base seems to not move much but there is ALOT of play in the top of the seat. We can't seem to get the recline right either. Help, everyone is hot and sweaty and not for the good reasons, lol.
Any suggestions?

Movement at the top doesn't count. You *only* check for movement at the belt path. Pull straight side-to-side or front-to-back; no twisting.

For recline, try 1-3 pool noodles* right at the vehicle seat crack. Pull the the slack out of the seatbelt from several different angles while pushing down on the back or seat of the CR.

* If you use 2-3 noodles, you can duct-tape them together in a pyramid shape to keep them stacked.

These videos helped me a lot! Scroll down about 1/3 of the way to see installing a convertible both with Latch and seat belt (not at the same time). The tip that helped me the most was lifting up the cover and pulling the strap through the opening. That really helped get it tight!

Yah, that is what I was telling them. But the more we played with it the looser the bottom was. We finally got it installed after I looked at some pics here of the installed RF Scenaras. We did it using a tightly rolled towel (no pool noodles at 10pm, lol) and ended up having to use a locking clip.
Getting her new MA installed in the Altima was much easier, lol.
