'06 Odyssey captains chair, and LATCH extender for Regent?

Anyone out there with an '06 Odyssey who has tried to use the Long Route LATCH Installation and recline bar of course for their (defective) Regent? Is the webbing on your current LATCH connector long enough to fulfill the installation requirements in the new manual? I don't want to take ours apart in the 100F heat only to find what I have is too short and need to wait for the kit.

Unless you have a pre 6/18?/07 regent you wont have the long belt latch yet.


I doubt our current latch would work, thus the reason they are sending out new ones. ;)

I was just at babies r us trying out a regent pre-changes model. I "almost" had it. I think *if* I would have really worked at it it might have made it, but it was 95 out and the store clerk who brought it out was acting all put out while I kept trying. So based on my 1/2 hearted try I am going to say that pre 6/18 models can't make it in the odyssey
