My SOn has been in a Boulevard since birth and I had it installed at the Hospital by a tech. I have an armrest in the center but with a Boulevard there is no way for it to come down. I had planned on moving my SOn's Boulevard over and still keep him rear facing but I hear a lot about the center armrest and infant seats. We bought the Safeseat for the new baby, will it be okay in the center or not?

I wouldn't worry about the fold-down center armrests that are in many cars.

Evenflo used to (I'm not sure if they still do) say you couldn't install seats in front of a fold-down armrest, but it always seemed a bit silly to me. If I recall correctly, Evenflo was the only major manufacturer that forbid it. I may be mistaken about that, though.

Unless your carseat or your vehicle forbids it, you can install in front of an armrest.

To absolutely know for sure check your carseat's Manual, and your Vehicle's manual ;)
