On Ebay, a 2004 store display, maybe a Roundabout. What, was it sitting in a store room or something? Can they do that?

It was a store display? EW. I make it a habit to play with display model carseats whenever I have the chance. They're disgusting, and often missing parts. :(

Nice how they know so much about what they're selling: "The model number is ABCD1234, look it up on the Britax website."

Maybe carseats should be more like prescription meds. Anyone could buy one without a "prescription," of course, but you'd have to have a license to sell one.

The bid is already up to $122 with $16 shipping. I think a buyer would get more for their money to go to the store and buy a new roundabout with 3 extra years of use in it.

I guess people just see Britax and they decide the want it, regardless of if it is really a good buy. I could see it being high priced if it was a really cute cover, but that cover isn't very pretty.

Maybe I'm just imagining things, but isn't this little rectangle in the cover (that I circled white) where the "this carseat is for display only" (or whatever) tag goes? looks to me like they took it off.

From the looks of the backgroung of the picture...I mean behind the sheet, it looks like it actually is in some type of warehouse or store room. It looks like they found it and figured lets sell it...when is the bid over? :thumbsdown:

ah good, so I'm not just seeing things! haha. Actually, one of the first things I noticed was it didn't have that little tag on it. Then I was just looking at the picture and noticed that there was that little rectangle right where that tag would normally go.
So now my question would be, can they get in trouble for taking that tag off and selling the seat? I'm pretty sure those normally say that they aren't supposed to be sold, but I don't know what anyone could do about it.
