I only have RA'a and a Regent and was helping my neighbor install her MA FF using LATCH, so am not completely familiar with it. Her seat prior was not even the slightest bit tight.:( Anyway, I am a bit confused about the LATCH anchors. When installing, the inscribed writing on the anchor should face the car seat, so that tightening mechanism faces out, right? (At least that is what I read) Yet, the anchors themselves appear to be upside down when I click it in. Meaning the part the clicks into the anchor. I thought it should be the larger rounded part facing upward and flat side down, but if I do that the straps are twisted. I am probably sounding way confusing here, but does anyone know what I am talking about?

You just have to thread one LATCH hook through the other to get them to face the right direction -- make sure the straps are loose for this.... I think it's mentioned in the manual & I think this is necessary for all Britax seats with these kind of LATCH hooks?

yes,
lift up the front part of the cover, and you will see how the bar they are attached to feeds under the seat. Pull both latch straps up there, and switch them.

Thanks! I actually just did some searching on the site and found the info and a picture. My RAs don't have a bar like that. The LATCH anchors are threaded through the back of it (where a seatbelt would go). I must have missed it in the MA manual.:(

I think one of the anchors is labeled "Drivers Side". Make sure it's on the correct side when you're done... :)
