Thomas and Friends recall!!!

I just saw on the news they found lead in them and are recalling them! I guess this was going on at a manufacturing plant in china and they said they have closed it down and are going to fix the problem but geez! All these yrs and how popular they are. Every boy household has them!

I actually just saw the recall on the news today about 2 hours ago so maybe they stopped the recall then started it again or it was regarding different manufacturing plants or something- I don't know. Just going off what I saw today.

That thread I linked was from yesterday when the CPSC sent out their alert. It doesn't surprise me that it would take a day for the news outlets to pick up the story. It is the same recall, and the link in that other thread has much more detail on which items were affected and how to get them replaced.

Ooops I'm a dork. I glanced at the person's join date in Febuary and was thinking that is when the post is from thus the reason for my last post about it being a diff recall! LOL. Sorry.
