I tried calling fisher price CS but they are closed. I did a search to look for recalls and couldn't find anything. Would there be any reason to not use it? I found this stroller at the salvation army store and it is in EC. I have seen joggers a few years old and they look trashed. This one looks lie it was used a few times and stored in a garage or something. It looks like THIS (http://cgi.ebay.com/FISHER-PRICE-JOGGING-STROLLER-PICK-UP-ONLY-OHIO_W0QQitemZ330131950317QQihZ014QQcategoryZ66701 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). It isn't my dream jogger, but i just was planning on using it for brisk walking. If it isn't safe or recalled obviously i won't use it.

I don't know anything about that stroller, but my concern would be safety at that age. Many things have changed on strollers in terms of safety, and there is also no other way to know who has had in their hands and how they have taken care of it.

Even on a brisk walk a stroller can be dangerous if not in perfect condition. I would also see if they would let you take it for a walk around the building, because the second concern I would have is "does it veer"?

I bought a cheapie off of my local Craigslist and thought I was getting a good deal, but it had many underlying issues I didn't realize until I started actually using it. If it is veering (more than likely it does), then it will not make your walk very enjoyable. You will constantly be having to be popping a wheely and repositioning the stroller on the road or sidewalk. This over and over again about killed my back.

The newer walking/jogging strollers I sell have a built in adjustment system so you can fix the veer if that ever were to happen. It is all about balance in a stroller when it comes to pushing, walking, jogging with them. You get what you pay for basically, and the more they cost the better they are all around.

Then again, there may be absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it may fit you and your situation perfectly LOL!!!

I would try to find a newer one like on Craigslist. The cheapy brand ones (Instep, schwinn, BabyTrend, etc..) are always popping up on my Craigslist for like $50-$100. Good luck!

I remember that stroller. I use to work at TRU's baby department while in high school and college. It was in production for 2yrs tops. I don't think there were any recalls on it but I am sure FP could look them up. Keep in mind that some recalls are really simple like they included the wrong instructions or things to that nature. I would look underneath it - if I remember correctly there were a lot of plastic pieces on it. Look for weak pieces or cracks.
