Which would you recommend for someone who doesn't use strollers often, but wants a decent small stroller?
I've tried both in the store, and like both, but no stores nearby have both to compare. The Combi Cosmo is cheaper, so that wins points, of course. The Combi goes to 45, the Volo goes to what, 50? Mikayla every once and a while gets lazy and doesn't want to walk to school (to pick Aaric up), and wants the stroller, and I just plop her in our umbrella stroller for that (which only goes to 40 lbs and she's 45). I won't be doing that anymore though, she's 5, she can walk! Xander is built smaller than she and Aaric were/are, so I don't see him still needing a stroller at 45 lbs either. So either way, the weight limit isn't really an issue here.
I like having a basket big enough to carry a little bit of stuff - like maybe slipping a couple beach towels down there to walk to the pool. Or the diaper bag. He's only ridden in a stroller twice so far, but I know we'll use it a little bit more in the toddler stage, once he's too heavy for me to want to wear him for long periods. Even then, I'd have both a sling and the stroller available.
So, for limited use, but someone who wants compact, lightweight, easy fold, with easy to use basket... what do you recommend?
(I should say, the Combi CAN be cheaper than the Mac. From looking around, I guess there are various models of the Cosmo, some over $100. I'm loving the "Lisa Loves Chocolate" brown and blue Cosmo. CUTE! Anyway, I'd probably get the $70 ST model. It's either $50 or $60 at the PX)
