May I ask you lovely ladies (and gents) for your opinions and experience please?

My friends are due with their newest bundle any day now and that will give them a great need for a double stroller. Their toddler (my dgd-dear goddaughter) is 17 months old and BUSY BUSY BUSY lol The mom has some back trouble and they also have 2 teenagers to keep track of (they are busy too ;) )

This (http://cgi.ebay.com/Baby-Trend-Silverado-Sit-N-Stand-Stroller-w-Car-Seat_W0QQitemZ180111166585QQcmdZViewItem) is the double stroller I've suggested to them because she wants to be able to use the car seat, a baby trend I bought them w/ a travel system when the toddler was born. Has any one used this model or have experience with tandems by baby trend and or sit and stands? We found one on CL so at least we are set to get a great deal and her mom, feeling very grandma I'm sure, has offered to buy it! YES

The thing is I have this stroller (http://www.epinions.com/pr-Zooper_Tango_Twin/display_~reviews) and want another but cant decide. I keep 2 toddlers 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 now during the day (their mother is due in Oct with an newbie) and on the weekends I watch a sibling group of four kids and the riders become my dgd and the 5 yr old of the 4 kids.

Here are my choices Please help me choose as I'd like to buy a second double this weekend

A) BOB dually (http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/bab/332364559.html)
B) Mac Opus Duo (http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/bab/333661656.html)
C)MBUD (http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/bab/336393012.html)

We have a Bob Duallie Ironman, similar to the one you are looking at. I am pretty pleased with it. Though, I have only used it a handful of times so far, so can't say too much. It is very solid and easy to push. It is our walking stroller, not used for the mall or anything like that. I folds really easily and actually pretty small. I got the carseat/child tray adapter and that works great. My 2 year old loves it.

I actually just saw that Bob Duallie on Craigslist this morning.

ETA - if you don't get the MBUD, I just might. I don't seem them every often on our Craigslist.

Where do you live? Ya I'm seriously torn thats why I need help deciding and fast, I don't think they will last.

How tall is your son, does he fit well? I'm mostly concerned about the height with the 5 yr old b/c he's so skinny weight shouldn't be an issue for years. Wish I could find a used Chariot Cougar or CX2 Double b/c I love my single but I'd need a second hand one b/c they are way too expensive new.

Is there any reason you don't use it indoors? Too wide? Too long? Hard to steer? Have another you like better?

Thanks for the quick response.

I voted for this one MBUD 2003 in Red because it looks the best lol.

I would recommend the MBUD, only because I have a friend that LOVES hers!

Can you elaborate a little more about what your friend loves about hers? When you all go out is it easy for her to use? What ages/sizes are her kids?

I like that I can get the bassinet attachment for the MBUD but since I have the Zooper I really am looking for something to get the kids out and about in. I love taking long long walks and I want them to be comfortable when we are out no matter if we end up in town for lunch or at the library for a story or on a path through the park. I know I can get the car seat attachment for both the MBUD and the BOB but I don't really know much about the practical uses for either. They both look nice and the BOB looks newer but I also need something that folds fairly small, my apt is tiny and I already have 2 singles and a double and the closet is quickly filling up w/ things on wheels lol

I'm really stumped on this choice. This is new for me I normally know what i want and buy it or save for it and then buy it but I KNOW in advance. The only reason the Mac is interesting is b/c I ride the bus and metro a lot and something not so bulky would be great for that because the Zooper double and I think either of the BOB or MB would also be out for that reason.

Has anyone used the buggyboards that attach to the rear? I was thinking if I had more than 2 riders that a bb would provide yet another passenger somewhere safe to be. But that may help me decide if either of these strollers is not compatible IYKWIM

If you are going to use this for an everyday, everywhere stroller, I would go with the MBUD. I am not sure how the Bob would do going in and out of stores, I think it is wider then the MBUD. Taylor has plenty of room in the Bob and I think that she will for a long time, and she is tall for her age.

We are in upper Montgomery County and I search Craigslist a lot. I would act fast. I saw a Maclaren twin Techno on there awhile back, and by the time I emailed, it was already gone.

I'm seriously leaning to the MBUD and I've even emailed the poster with some questions. We'll see if she can help my debate. I'd love to buy this by Saturday. I wonder if I can get the MD and Mac! That would probably fully push my budget and stroller closet! But I would absolutely be set for any situation :) Any one else can help me? I still really like the BOB, the big canopies and the chunky wheels appeal to me for some reason. And I went on their web site and they have these cool new toddler trays and car seat attachment combo package. Oh why do I stress so, ok I'm off to work, chat with you ladies this evening :)

I want to know if you got a response back from the seller. I will be so jealous if you get the MBUD. That is such a great price. I don't see them on our Craigslist very often.

I'm sorry I had to vote for two :D. Opus for the car, MBUD for walking in the neighborhood. If you only take short walks on paved sidewalks, the opus might be ok for that. Might consider a wagon for the neighborhood, too, if you aren't walking for naps :)
