With summer coming I need to get a double stroller and price is the big factor. I usually wear one child and have the other in the stroller but soon it's going to be really hot and muggy and I'd like a double. Right now we have the Graco Metrolite which I really like. Easy to steer, fold, etc. I could sell that to help defray the cost of a double but it still needs to be under $150 or so. The Graco Duoglider looks nice and cheap, is that a good one? We have a pretty spacious trunk (large sedan) so really it just needs to be light enough for me to handle. What's the difference between the the Duoglider, DG LX, DG LXI? The Evenflo Take Me Too looked interesting but it looks like the front seat is a mini version of the back and would be outgrown. My tall and skinny (25 lb) 2 year old would be using it, as well as my chunky 3 month old. We have the Graco Snugride and might be getting a SS1 so it'd be nice if it could snap in the stroller but it's not a requirement. Thank you for any help! DH and I are both 5'10" if that helps.

i really like the stroller that saftey 1st makes it's a tandem stroller (1 behind 1), they also have the eddie b. modle at target (or they did a few months ago) i got it on sale for about $80. we took it to disney for the girls to ride in and it wokred well, takes up about 1/4 of my BIG ok no it's HUGE trunk in the intrepid.... i think safety 1st still has it on thier website...

My neighbors had the Evenflo and it just disintegrated after a month, it was awful :P
Duoglider or Duorider (the side by side, AWESOME to push, $120 MSRP) are fine for a bargain choice... the Joovy Caboose is also fine, but not quite what you are looking for.

I used our Duoglider for 5+ years and it still works fine! (it is a pain in the butt to steer, but it always was!)

Thank you :)
I'm not expecting perfection with the Graco ones, I just need to know that they won't fall apart on me. As long as they work I'm fine LOL. I don't think a side-by-side one would work for us...behavioral issues+jealousy=not a good situation. We also use a lot of narrow sidewalks. But I DO love that price.
Thank you for posting the links! The combi looks really nice! I don't think we can swing it now but I'll see. If it's not on sale by the time we can get it I'll go for a Graco.

I had an Evenflo Take Me Too Express. It was horrible, the back axle bent after only a month of very little use, and the wheels were going flat. I was using it for a 2.5 year old and my then 5 month old. I hated it, and returned it to the store. I was stuck with store credit. We ended up buying the Graco Tour Double, but that was 250. I would stay way from Evenflo.
