New threads in the Carseat Swap forum are restricted to Senior Community Members. Users are automatically placed in this usergroup when they reach 4 months registered, 50 posts and a reputation rating of 15. You can also request to join this usergroup before you reach those levels in the Group Memberships area of your User CP. Approval in this manner is completely at the discretion of the usergroup leaders (scatterbunny, lovinwaves, papooses and skaterbabscpst), generally for people they "know" from other forums or have been at car-seat.org long enough but haven't quite met all the automatic thresholds.
