? about time to post response

I'm new to the board.
I see my new threads post almost instantly, but the responses I posted 27 hours ago ,to a thread I started as un unregistered "guest", are still not posted.
Is this normal or am I doing something wrong.
I have quite a few more questions on the subject :)

Until your registration is complete, your posts are moderated and must be approved before they'll show up. For some reason, I didn't see your responses on my lists of new posts, but I just checked for queued posts another way and there they were. They've been approved now. If you have a problem in the future, just post like this, and someone will get right on it.
