Ilana works with lawyers I think (I forget her screen name?) -- I was in school to be a paralegal, but when I found out you don't have to have an Associates degree to be a paralegal I decided I didn't want to spend my $ on that  The info was great for getting through Family court, though  I don't have a legal Lexis or Westlaw password anymore since they're only active during semesters you're registered in a Paralegal course :o If no one else responds I *might* be able to help...?

Otherwise, have you tried just calling a local atty: many offer 1st visits FREE

LOL yyeaappp, i have some family law questions (moreso filing procedures). Everything isn't peachy on the "co-parenting" expedition anymore.

I have a lawyer, haven't used him in almost 4 years- though at this point i'm absolutely ready. I just want to explore my options before I call him and get billed up the wazoo :)

Have you visited your state's legal website? Most give contact information, filing procedural info, forms, bills waiting approval, significant historical cases, etc. + information on lawyers: often a number for an organization that matches you with a lawyer for a free visit (no obligation to return)....

Me? I am a lawyer. I don't know much about paralegal training though.

I'll PM you, i don't want to clog up the boards, but it's about filing something- nothing about training :)
