:confused: ok i went to salvation army yesterday (we collect records) and there was *8* out of date carseats , one of them being a evenflo 3pt with a DOM of 1990
i went and spoke with the manager about them and he said "as long as it isnt illegal then ill keep them out"
so my question is...IS it illegal to sell them??

I would assume it is, especially if your state has a proper use clause in the child restraint law!

I would tell them that if they sell and someone used them and got in an accident that they could sue the heck out of them. I don't know that they would want that liability on their hands. I'm not sure if it's legal or not to sell them.
