Hello everyone! My name is Melissa. I am a MN SAHM to 4.5 y/o dd and 16 mth ds. I snoop here, parents.com and on the Delphi forum. I am in the process of getting enough ppl where I live signed up to take the CPS certification class. I found a wonderful instructor who is willing to drive the 4 hours up here to teach us!! Yeah!!! Can't wait to meet everyone and see what different points of views are here! :cool:

Where in MN approximately are you? I'm asking because dh and I grew up there (he's in the military) and our families still live there. My little sister got certified when she was 17, but her certification expired last spring and she really had not much chance of renewing it (nothing really happening by her). If you are anywhere near "there," that'd be cool for her to know there was more of a CPS community like her besides a couple of techs at the hospital who occasionally do checks by appointment :) . I don't expect you to say an exact location on a public forum, but for a rather general reference, "home" is about 4 hours north of the Twin Cities ;) .

Welcome and I do think it's awesome that you're getting people together to do this!
