So have a i got things right here that Child seats dates are when they are made not when they expire..? I just noticed ours have when it was made but no where does it say when it expires.

If so isnt that just soooo wrong...?

It depends on the seat, but our Evenflo Triumph has it stamped/molded into the plastic: "Do not use this seat after December 31, 2007". There is a separate sticker with the manufacture date. So it may be in two separate places...?

Some seats print a date of manufacture but not necessarily the date of expiration. What brand of car seat do you have? If you look in your user manual for your seat it should hopefully tell you the 'life expectancy on your seat' (usually 6 years) and you take the six years from the day the seat was manufactured :)
