Hello, wondering where to find informaion on car seat safety (especially 5 pt harness) and Boosters. My son is in preshool and I have seen a few parents NOT using even a booster for their 4-5 yr olds. I asked the director and she said if I could locate some flyers/a poster, etc.. she would gladly post or distribute them. Sadly, I do not know even 1 other person that has or knows about the 5 pt harness options beyond 40 pounds. What is the best way to inform them without sounding like a goody-goody or show off?
I would especially like for these moms to see or at least know about the available videos such as the Kyle video. I am not certified by any means ,but I frequent this site, and have done lots of reading about car seat safety issues, and just want to spread the word since its soooo important.

Thanks for any help or advice.:)

www.carseat.org (notice there is NO hyphen, otherwise you'll end up here again) ... I believe it's the right column on main page has a link to their printables section.

Alisa Baer, the "Carseat Lady" has compiled a huge collection of good handouts from SafetyBeltSafeUSA, NHTSA and the AAP here: http://www.thecarseatlady.com/for_pediatricians_and_cps_professionals/for_pediatricians_and_cps_professionals.html

Have you stopped out at Safe Kids and looked to see who/where your local Safe Kids Coalition is? They would likely have materials to hand out/distribute (ours has coloring books, a video and several different flyers), especially with "Safe Kids" week coming up Feb.

AAA - the automotive/travel club also has some good free stuff.
