you mean tether anchors? or lower anchors? lower anchors, no dice. tether anchors, maybe. that is such an old car, and a hatchback, i really don't know where you could safely install the anchors. probably on the trunk floor behind the rear seat.

my gosh, a regent in an 82 civic... kind of like an elephant in a dog house. i'm guessing the rear seat in an 82 civic is about the same size as that of a MINI.

The LATCH MANUAL says:

The tether part kit for all Honda models is 8241-SE3-C01. In the owner's manual it is called anchor plate and mounting hardware.

Tether anchor kit contains an all-in-one bolt, anchor pate and spacer. The bolt has a rounded top and is not marked metric or English.

If the tether anchor is not factory installed detailed tether anchor installation directions are int he owner's manual. Instructions are not included with the kit.

For a 2 dr HB, up to 99, there are 3 8mm weld nuts in back wall cargo area.

[I'd think that means you'll need to get your hands on the owner's manual and find a Honda dealer/service center that knows their stuff. Also, IF, you get the anchors installed, I'm betting "in back wall cargo area" means along the rear of the 'trunk' area and it will be really tough to use the HB area for anything but the tether anchor.]

HTH Good luck.
