Help Please

We are flying to Florida so my daughter can have surgery in a month. After the surgery she will be in a spica cast, so I am trying to get a car seat/harness for her.

I thought the E-Z-On Modified Vest would be a good choice. Where can I get one quickly? Is there a difference btw models M203 and 101M2 that I should favor one? Will I be able to pack it to take it one the plane ride down?

My daughter is 2, thank you very much for any advice you can share.

ClairesDad, since you have a few weeks, I would try to get a Britax Hippo for your daughter, which is essentially a Marathon with the sides cut out to accomodate a SPICA cast. I would not put a two year old in a E-Z-On.

If that is not possible, often a Sunshine Kids Radian will work for kids in spica casts because the sides are so low.

Both of these seats should also install fine on the plane ride and give your daughter a comfortable place to sit, with proper restraint against turbulence and head support should she sleep on the flight.
