So, I was looking at the announcement thingy...
To join the CPS Guru "750" club, you must have been a Registered User for at least 750 days, made at least 750 posts and earned a reputation level of 750
Now, all I have to do is make a couple hundred more posts...wait more than a year...and contribute posts that garner about 700 more reputation points. LOL. Oh well, a girl can dream.
But the reason I mentioned it, is that I didn't notice, the first time I read the announcement, that there was a thingy where non-tech Guru's would be granted read-only access to the tech forum. How nifty is that?!
How many people currently have that title, just one? (IIRC?).
Still. How nifty :)

I don't think anyone is even close to the 750 reputation, yet. Perhaps that needs to be revised. The announcement was revised last week so there is some updated stuff in it.

750 reputation points? YIKES!! I have a LONG way to go! I need about 730 more points!! :D :D :o
I would also need to be a member for another year and a half, anyway.

is there a FAQ or a link that explains how reputation points work?

For some reason I thought that Papooses was one. But she is a tech, right?, so wouldn't need the other title. lol
though I could see the CPS Technician/CPS Guru title for her. lol
Still it is a nifty idea. :)

I think Scatterbunny was highest in reputation but I don't know how much. I'm not sure if you can choose the CPS Guru title over the CPS Tech title or not.

Any chance of revising the whole "750 reputation points" requirement? People don't seem to use the reputation points as much as they would need to in order to get non-admin people to 750 points. :)
I think about users such as Papooses, Scatterbunny, Wendythomas, skaterbabs, and so on. Granted, all these users are also techs, but they are certainly also prolific posters on this board!!
