At first, my partner didn't understand rear-facing and why it was so important...had the nerve to argue with me...let me just say that never happened again, LOL! I showed her the information, but the crash test footage is what really got the point across. Anyway, she is really good with getting the boys in their seats and knows a bit about the subject now...she's even told people she works with about it and she complains with me at the misuse on TV and in movies when we see it now.

I didn't realize what a great job I had done until tonight, when I was talking about the new Recaro seat...I mentioned that I wondered how tall it was, because it probably wouldn't fit in either of our cars RF and I didn't want to turn Pacey FF yet. I didn't even get my whole sentence out and she started shaking her head and said "Huh-uh...nope...no forward-facing, not an option!"

I am so proud!! :D

That's awesome. :D It feels so good when the important people in our lives understand.

WOOHOO!!! I know how it feels when all our "preaching" is finally heard. I had been preaching to DH for months about Dakota needing to be back in a 5 point, but he was more worried about the $$. When the Kyle vedio came out he didn't want to watch it and we actually got into a screaming(and me crying) match about it, so he finally watched it. Needless to say he has agreed to a radian. Now just to get the $$ for it, i had it but my car decided to break:mad: (stupid car).
I almost have DH as anal(as he puts it,sorry for the not so nice word) as me about car seats!!

Great! Those videos can do wonders, can't they? Until a week ago, my husband did two things that annoyed me: 1) always had the chest clip down around the harness buckle, and 2) always had the harness soooo loose! The second issue was partly because Nolan complains when we tighten it. After the videos, he has become a fanatic as well :D We then showed Nolan the crash-test video (and the Kyle video), and he doesn't complain anymore. :p

Isn't it great not to have to constantly try to persuade someone anymore? Congrats!
