My sister is having a baby and I will be doing childcare for her. It will only be 1-3 days a week, but I need to drive my daughter to school and pick her up so there will be days that I need to have all three kids in the car.

I have a RF Britax Boulevard (for DS who is currently 21 months and 21 lbs, 34") and a FF Radian XT (for my 4 year old DD who is 32" and 41") - both outboard- in my '09 Hyundai Sonata which has a fairly generous back seat.

Is there a seat (preferably convertible) that will fit with these two to make 3 across? I have a "spare" Roundabout and a TrueFit, and although I havent tried, I'm pretty sure the TF wont fit at all and the Roundabout is also probably too big.

Aside from getting another Radian, what are the options? What's the word on the new Combi Coccoro? It's supposed to be pretty narrow...

I'm not familiar with the vehicle, but usually you can gain a few more inches by installing all three carseats with seat belts instead of LATCH. I'd try that with the TF just to see if it works - to avoid having to buy something else, yk? If that doesn't work, what kind of seat will your sister be using? If she's using an infant seat, you might be able to use it without the base (leave the base in your sister's car) and get them to fit.

You can also try putting the Radian in the middle and whatever seat you get for your sister's baby outboard - the Radian tends to fit really well in those tiny center seats.

The Roundabout doesn't fit most newborns very well, so I wouldn't bother trying to make it fit 3-across.

If you do have to go shopping, yes the Coccoro is pretty narrow and would fit your sister's newborn quite nicely.
