AOE crotch strap position when RF

Can I use any of the three crotch strap positions when RF? I currently have it in the middle but it is difficult to do up as he's sitting on it and I'd like to move it to the outermost slot. I can't find anything about this in my manual.

Any buckle position may be used for RF or FF in the AOE. Because all 3 of the positions are behind the beltpath, you can use whichever is most comfy for your child. The problems and restrictions come into play because some other brands/models of carseats have crotch slots that are actually forward of the RFing beltpath, and therefore having the crotch strap in the outer position woudl cause it to interfere with the installation belpath.
