When you are thanked on a post, it adds rep, right? In my rep list, I have a few that say 'thanked post'. But I've seen some of my posts have thanks under them (someone thanked me), yet it doesn't show up in my rep list. The first time I thought it was a fluke, or I didn't really get thanked where I thought it had. But it just happened with a post today.

"Thanks" clicks no longer add rep points, nor do they appear in your rep list. You have to go to your user CP and look at the statistics tab to see your "thanks" info.

It was changed because using a "Thanks" was taking away the number of times you could rep someone. Now you can leave 3 rep and 5 thanks, but the thanks do not add rep points. So, for the time while Thanks added a rep point, you will see that in your rep history.

Ok... maybe I'm completely skipping over it. But I don;t see anything that says "statistics" in the User CP  What's it near?

Click on "User CP," then look at your profile. There are a bunch of tabs there, and one of them says "statistics."

You can save a step and get to your profile from any page you're on by clicking your name at the top right where it says Welcome, NannyMom.

You have been thanked 5 times in 5 posts. You can click this link to see the posts:

Ok, so why was it that earlier today I could "Thank" people, but now I don't see the "Thanks" icon, nor can I see who has received a "Thanks" under their posting?!

It disappears after you have thanked 5 people in one day.

Got it. That's kinda lame. Heaven help us if we have a lot of thoughful posts in one day.

Thanks for the help though, BigDaddy. I'd "Thank" you, but alas...this will have to suffice! :D

LOL...probaby true! ;) Nastyr just gave me some good info so I wanted to "thank" her. But no biggie...I did it the old fashioned way by GASP! posting a thank you in a reply! :D

Colleen, you're a goof! :D And I didn't know you were attempting to quit smoking again. Congrats to you!

I hated to admit to anyone I'd started again after the last time I quit! (It was SO hard with dh still smoking, SO hard, everytime he'd walk outside and light up I was just dying for one and eventually broke down.)

BUT...I'm holding firm...taking LOTS of Advil for my headache and hoping for the best! There are NO cigarettes in the house anywhere. :D

Threads in the SCM forum are purged routinely. Any Thanks or Rep would be removed at each purge anyway. It's possible Thanks could be added in the future. We will see how it goes in the CM forum and sub forums.
